Following the Ministry of Education’s requirements for independent schools, Byens Steinerskole has prepared detailed curriculum plans for all the subjects we offer in the school from Class 0 to Class 9.
The curriculum plans below were revised in the spring of 2023.
After completing Class 9, students must have received an education whose academic level is comparable to that of a Danish primary school. We prepare our students to be able to pass the Danish 9th grade exams (FP9), which consist of four individual tests; these are goals set by the Danish Ministry of Education.
This allows students to continue to a Danish secondary education program such as the Danish Gymnasium.
