We are open Monday to Thursday 7.00 – 16.45 and Friday 7.00 – 16.00
Holidays and closing days
Lærkelunden is closed on all public holidays, Monday to Wednesday before Easter, on the Danish Constitution Day June 5th, and between Christmas and New Year. In addition, we recommend that parents, if possible, have their summer holidays in weeks 28 and 29, allowing the staff to take their holidays at the same time. This gives the best rhythm and everyday life for the children in the kindergarten.
Food
Organic/biodynamic vegetarian food is served in Lærkelunden. The children are given a morning snack consisting of a piece of apple and crispbread, lunch and an afternoon snack, again consisting of some fruit and bread. Water is served with each meal.
The parents must provide the children with a water bottle each day.
Price
The prices follow the tariffs for day care in the municipality of Copenhagen.
Payment is monthly and due in advance on the first of each month, throughout the year. Once your child has been placed in Lærkelunden, an enrolment fee of DKK 1000 is charged. The fee is non-refundable.
Joining the support association
Everyone who joins the kindergarten automatically becomes a member of the support association. Find more information about the Support Association and the annual fee per household here (Danish).
Withdrawal
Parents can terminate their child’s place at Lærkelunden with 2 months’ notice to the 1st of the month. Withdrawal from the kindergarten must be done by filling out this form.
